Caring for and maintaining for handmade designs on hoodies requires some extra attention to ensure the artwork stays intact. Here are some tips and instructions to follow:

1. Washing Instructions

Turn the hoodie inside out: This will protect the painted design from friction and wear during washing.

Cold water wash: Use cold water to prevent the paint from fading or cracking due to heat.

Gentle cycle: Wash the hoodie on a gentle or delicate cycle to avoid stressing the paint.

Mild detergent: Use a mild, non-abrasive detergent to avoid damaging the paint.

Avoid fabric softeners: Fabric softeners can break down the paint over time.

2. Drying Instructions

Air dry: Lay the hoodie flat to dry, or hang it up to dry naturally. Avoid using a dryer as heat can cause the paint to crack or peel.

No direct sunlight: Drying in direct sunlight can cause fading of the paint. Keep it in a shaded area.

Avoid wringing: Don't wring or twist the hoodie to remove excess water, as this can distort the fabric and damage the paint.

3. Ironing Tips

Iron on the reverse side: If you need to iron the hoodie, always iron it inside out to prevent direct heat on the paint.

Low heat setting: Use a low heat setting on the iron and avoid pressing directly on painted areas. You can place a cloth between the iron and the paint for added protection.

Avoid steam: Steam can cause the paint to lift or smudge, so it's best to iron without steam.

4. General Care

Spot clean: If you get a stain on the painted area, spot clean it gently with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid scrubbing the design.

Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong chemicals that could damage the paint.
